it really feels like people outside our communities have forgotten or stopped caring about this but there have been almost 6,000 bodies of indigenous children found at residential schools in canada and indian boarding schools in the US. and an estimated 100,000 bodies will ultimately be found. indigenous communities in the US and canada are still waiting for a real apology, reparations, anything.
